What can I say about this show! It was amazing! I have wanted to see Steve Miller for many years, and it has always been something or another that has prevented me from being able to do it. So, when things lined up that I was able to make this show happen and I was able to buy front seats I did it!
He played all his greatest hits, I sang along to all of them. He told some interesting stories about his career and his songs, but mostly he just jammed.
The best part was at the end of the night. Throughout the show I had been trying to get a guitar pick but was unsuccessful. As they were doing the teardown. There was a guy yelling “hey roadie, can I get a pick” over and over to this guy working. I thought oh no way he is going to get a pick yelling at that guy like that. I tried to distance myself from him best I could. Then I saw this other guy come walking out. I yelled “Hey sir, can I please get one of those picks, please? He walked over and told some dude. Give him one and he pointed to me and a few other people as he said give them all picks.
